Mira Kaddoura (AD, 2002) and Vann Graves Named to 600 & Rising Board of Directors

Brandcenter alum Mira Kaddoura (AD, 2002) and Executive Director Vann Graves were named to the inaugural board of directors for 600 & Rising: a nonprofit organization founded in June 2020 to advocate for Black people working in advertising. Their leadership in the organization reflects Brandcenter’s ongoing commitment to building a more inclusive industry through the development of diverse, creative talent.

The board was created to help 600 & Rising “execute its mission of dismantling systemic racism in the U.S. advertising industry through effective policy and zealous advocacy,” according to the nonprofit.

Kaddoura is founder and executive creative director at Red & Co., an agency in Portland, OR that helps clients make a bigger, more meaningful impact on society. She grew up in Beirut before immigrating to Toronto. In a recent podcast with AdAge, Kaddoura talks about how diversity “isn’t a project for her, it’s a rallying cry.”

Kaddoura will serve in the role of Allyship chair at 600 & Rising, while Graves will serve as Education chair.
