Two alumni join creative faculty
The Brandcenter is thrilled to announce two new creative faculty hires, both Brandcenter alumni. KT Schaeffer (AD, 2001) and Tom Scharpf (AD, 1998) will begin teaching this fall.
Both KT and Tom bring 20+ years of industry experience: KT in retail and experiential design at companies like Anthropologie, NIKE, and Sugar Paper Los Angeles; and Tom in creative direction, most recently at Leo Burnett but with most of his career at Venables Bell & Partners, creating award-winning work for brands like Audi, Reebok, Chipotle, and Google.
Meet our new Director of Recruitment and Admissions
"I initially became interested in admissions because I began to see how many people I had grown up with didn’t have guidance in getting to college — and I counted myself as lucky to have had a lot of guidance."
This summer, the Brandcenter welcomed Rachel Ensing as its new Director of Recruitment and Admissions. Rachel has an M.S. in Higher Education Administration/Enrollment Management from the University of Miami and experience at NC State, The College Board, and Jack Kent Cooke Foundation.
