Brandcenter Boasts Record Number Of Alumni Ads In Super Bowl LIV

A total of 26 alums contributed to 18 different Super Bowl spots this year — a record number for the Brandcenter. Brands represented by alumni work include Planters, Olay, Doritos, Bud Light, Facebook and Porsche.

Brandcenter Hosts Second Annual Sprint Competition

Before spring classes started in January, second year students had the opportunity to pitch real client work as part of the second annual Brandcenter Sprint: a four-day innovation+design competition in which students team up to tackle real brand problems. This year, student teams were split amongst two clients: Coors Light and Buffalo Wild Wings (represented by The Martin Agency).

Alums Highlight Lunar New Year Traditions In Nike China Ad

The tradition of the hongbao — giving (and politely refusing) a red envelope gift during the new year — is taken to a whole new level in Nike’s Lunar New Year spot. Congrats to Creative Directors Matt Skibiak (CW, 2013) and Matt Meszaros (CW, 2013) at Wieden + Kennedy Shanghai for their work on an ad that highlights Chinese culture in a fun, playful way.
