Jay Kamath is Founder and Chief Creative Officer of HAYMAKER, an Emmy Award Winning company that has twice been recognized as an AdAge Small Agency of the Year.
Throughout his career, Jay has consistently created culturally impactful work for brands such as Nike, Activision, ESPN, 2K Sports, and Sonos. He’s been a creative force behind iconic brand campaigns including Jay-Z releasing his album “Magna Carta Holy Grail” exclusively on Samsung devices and Kenny Powers’ hostile corporate takeover of K-Swiss as MFCEO.
Jay’s creative leadership experience spans companies such as 72andSunny, R/GA, Wieden+Kennedy, and Google, and he's been featured in Business Insider's 30 Under 30 list for "Most Creative People in Advertising." In 2017, Jay co-founded the creative agency HAYMAKER alongside his strategy partner Matt Johnson with the goal of delivering agile thought leadership while building a new generation of strategically minded creatives.
Jay hails from Augusta, GA, and is enjoying his home state’s sports franchises recently emerging from decades of mediocrity to achieve greatness. He currently lives with his wife and son in Los Angeles, where you might hear his poor renditions of Usher or Enrique Iglesias at a local karaoke bar.
