Brandcenter experience design students unveil Project Holiday storefronts at Westhampton shops
First year Experience Design students of the VCU Brandcenter were tasked with designing storefront windows for 28 Westhampton Merchants Association stores to capture the magic of the holiday season. They will unveil their work at a grand viewing event on Black Friday, Nov. 24, 5-8pm.
The project is a collaboration with the Westhampton Merchants Association. Participating businesses provided the students with a $100 budget per window.
"Their efforts are part of Project Holiday, a friendly competition for the students to come up with the most wonder-inspiring window display with a budget of just $100 per window and lots of creativity.
The public will get the chance to vote on the windows they think are the most creative."
“I am so impressed with the students at the VCU Brandcenter,” said Lief Stiles, owner of retail shop 1z2z3z. “It has been an amazing experience working with them on this project. I cannot wait to see the window at 1z2z3z come to life this November.”
