Brandcenter students complete first ever BC Sprint
Second year students spent the end of their winter break working vigorously on a brand challenge for client sponsor Casper in the Brandcenter's first ever BCsprint. Briefed on Thursday afternoon and presenting on Monday morning, the ten student teams had four days to problem solve, come up with ideas and prepare presentations in a real world "sprint" scenario.
Alum Sloane Hastings (ST, 2013), Design Strategy Lead at Casper, represented the client, briefing the students and reviewing their presentations along with guest reviewers from Casper, Arts & Letters and the Martin Agency. Each of the ten teams were paired with mentors ranging from Brandcenter professors to local alumni pros from Capital One, Arts & Letters, The Martin Agency, SingleStone Consulting and The Robertson School of Media & Culture at VCU. We are so thankful for the support and feedback from our wonderful mentors and client partners. They were blown away by the student work and ideas that came out of this 4-day sprint.
