Brandcenter hires two alumni to join creative faculty
The Brandcenter is thrilled to announce two new creative faculty hires, both alumni. KT Schaeffer (AD, 2001) and Tom Scharpf (AD, 1998) will begin teaching this fall.
Both KT and Tom bring twenty+ years of industry experience. KT's background is in retail and experiential design, creating unimagined experiences for a global consumer audiences at companies like Anthropologie, NIKE, and Sugar Paper Los Angeles. Tom was most recently global executive creative director at Leo Burnett, but spent much of his career as a creative director at Venables Bell & Partners, creating award-winning work for Audi, Intel, Reebok, Chipotle, Adidas Golf, ConAgra and Google.
Since they graduated, both KT and Tom have remain involved with the Brandcenter: mentoring students, speaking at Friday Forum, and recruiting graduates and alumni. We’re thrilled to have them back again, this time, as professors.
