Kevin is an example of what can happen when someone grows up with a steady diet of music videos, sketch comedy shows, the History Channel, video games, and a drum kit, and an unhealthy interest in technology.
After causing his parents endless nights of worry, Kevin found his way to Virginia Tech and eventually the Brandcenter (Strategy, 2006), which led to a career driving creative strategy and digital thinking for world-renowned brands like Apple, Microsoft, and Cadillac. Before returning to the Brandcenter to teach, Kevin worked at agencies including The Martin Agency, Eleven Inc., Modernista, and McKinney. As a Brandcenter professor, Kevin primarily teaches strategy and creative brand management students.
Kevin believes in good coffee, hot salsa, and disc golf. He and his wife, also a Brandcenter alum, live in Richmond with their two kids and golden doodle.
