    • TBWA absorbs:
      • MullenLowe
      • DDB
        • The team that services Volkswagen will be known as “Bernbach”

  • IPG agencies (including Martin and Deutsch) move into the U.S. Advertising Collective (part of Omnicom Advertising Group).
  • Omnicom’s new U.S. Advertising Collective includes: Goodby, GSD&M, Martin, Deustch, Zimmerman, Lucky Generals, Merkley & Partners, and Carmichael Lynch (referred to as “a collection of smaller, creative boutiques”)
  • McCann remains the sole IPG global creative network. Reasons are because of established global footprint and brand awareness.
  • While Omnicom made significant changes to the creative side of its business, its media operations are largely untouched.
  • Earlier this year, IPG agencies have already cut 3200 jobs and Omnicom agencies have already cut 3000 jobs. It’s estimated that 4000 more jobs will be cut this month. The result is an 18% overall reduction of staff compared to EOY 2024.
