Raná Martin

Managing Director, Executive Producer / PARALLAX

Raná Martin is a seasoned post-production leader with over 20 years of experience spanning editorial, producing, and creative development. With both undergraduate and graduate training in editing, she developed a deep love and respect for the craft of visual storytelling, allowing her to intuitively support both artists and clients at every stage of the process. Her award-winning body of work includes commercials, music videos, original content, narrative and documentary films, fashion films, and art installations. Projects she’s led have aired across all major platforms and time slots—from the Oscars, Emmys, GRAMMYs, VMAs, Cannes Lions, AICP, CLIOs, The One Show, and D&AD.

Martin currently serves as Managing Director / Executive Producer at PARALLAX, overseeing operations across New York and Los Angeles. She began her career at Lost Planet Editorial in New York City in 2001, before joining Three Fingered Louie Editorial as Producer and Director of Marketing. In 2004, she moved to Final Cut NY, where she rose from Producer to Executive Producer, later joining Cut+Run NY in 2011 as Executive Producer before relocating to Los Angeles to join Rock Paper Scissors. In 2020, she returned east to open PS260’s Boston office, then back west to help launch the company’s West Adams location in Los Angeles. In her previous position, she held the role of bicoastal Executive Producer at The Den Editorial.

Throughout her career, Martin has helped shape campaigns for leading global brands such as Amazon, Apple, Google, HBO, Meta, Netflix, Nike, Samsung, and Toyota, and collaborated on music videos and branded work with iconic artists including Beyoncé, David Bowie, Kendrick Lamar, Rihanna, The Weeknd, Prince, and Tom Petty. Outside of work, she finds joy in singing, playing trumpet, and mentoring the next generation of creative talent—particularly emerging voices of color and members of the LGBTQ+ community.
