Creative Director / Howler

A graduate of the Brandcenter (Art Direction, 2003), Adam currently works as the Creative Director for Austin, TX-based lifestyle surf / fly fishing brand, Howler Bros. 

His area of academic interest is exploring the intersection of art and commerce, and visual semiotics in brand design.

Adam spent the bulk of his 20+ year career at The Martin Agency leading campaigns for GEICO, Smithsonian, WWF, ESPN, Walmart and RITZ, as well as working in Los Angeles at MAL / Apple creating global campaigns for iPhone. Most recently Adam was co-ECD of Wolfgang LA, where he oversaw work for adidas, Halo Top, Vevo, Teremana Tequila, and the re-brand of Johnston & Murphy.

Outside the world of advertising, he can be found chest deep in the James River raising his free-range kids with his wife and two Bernese Mt. Dogs.
