Joe Maglio

CEO / McKinney, CEO / Barbarian

Joe Maglio was named CEO of McKinney in October 2018 — just the fifth CEO in McKinney’s 55-year history. Since then, the agency has experienced record growth, welcoming new client partners including Little Caesars and Popeyes, expanding into new cities and launching new verticals, such as health & wellness and influencer marketing. During his tenure, McKinney has been named both an A-List Standout Agency and a Best-Place-to-Work by Ad Age, as well as a Fast Company 100 Best Workplaces for Innovators, and McKinney Health was named to the MM+M Agency 100 two years after its launch. In 2024 Joe became President of Cheil North America and CEO of Barbarian, while retaining his role as CEO of McKinney. Previously, Joe held senior roles at Publicis and Havas, which included leading a portfolio of each respective agency’s largest clients. Joe is active in the advertising industry and was elected to the 4A’s National Board as a Director-At-Large, and was recently named to the VCU Brandcenter’s Director’s Council. His other interests include film production, angel investing, and charitable work — he served as president of the Board of Directors for the 501(c)(3) organization, Safety Saints, and currently acts as a board advisor.
