Brandcenter alumna named in Adweek’s Creative 100 and Ad Age Leading Women Rising Stars for 2023

Sara Singh is the mastermind behind the Taco Bell x Doja Cat: Return of Return of the Mexican Pizza collaboration

Brandcenter alumna Sara Singh (Creative Brand Management, 2018) is making her mark. Singh was recently named in Adweek’s Creative 100 for 2023 in the Rising Agency Talent category and in Ad Age’s 2023 Leading Women as a Rising Star.

A strategy director at Deutsch LA, Singh serves as the strategic lead for the Taco Bell account and was mastermind behind the Taco Bell x Doja Cat: Return of the Mexican Pizza collaboration. The campaign and partnership led to 20 million Mexican pizzas sold, an 8% increase in total sales, a 10% increase in loyalty sign-ups; helped Taco Bell earn the #5 spot in Fast Company’s Most Innovative Brands of 2023; earned millions upon millions of views and impressions; and changed the game for partnerships between celebrities and brands. From Twitter to Coachella to jingles to the Super Bowl to a musical on TikTok and more, it was the campaign that kept giving and kept us all on our toes. And, it all started because Singh saw an opportunity in Doja Cat’s tweets at Taco Bell to bring back the Mexican Pizza.

With this bold, unexpected, and culturally-driven work (and her other work for Taco Bell), it’s no wonder Singh landed on two of the most selective lists for emerging creatives.
