As an alumni and staff member, KJ has been a VCU Ram and Richmonder for over twenty years, working in various roles focused on student services and community engagement—his most recent work involved managing operations at the VCU Health Hub in Richmond’s East End. K.J. brings experience in program management, operations, and stakeholder relations to his role at the Brandcenter.
K.J. is a Jersey-raised and Richmond-refined walking, talking non sequitur who is driven by curiosity, compassion, and connection with others. He spends his free time keeping up with the worlds of comic books, pro wrestling, weird fiction, and general pop culture. He enjoys playing bass and will likely try to convince you to learn an instrument so you can form a band together. He also loves it when movies say the name of the movie in the dialogue.
K.J. resides in his beloved East End neighborhood with his partner, their two kiddos, and their crested gecko, Taco Bingo Ricasata. He also believes in you and hopes you’re doing your best!
